Torbay Council has announced the decision to award their Children's Social Care case management system to Liquidlogic. The existing case management system, provided by CIVICA, will be replaced by the Council in early 2021 and will be hosted by Liquidlogic.
Speaking about the decision, Nancy Meehan, Director of Children’s Services for Torbay Council, says: "Liquidlogic’s solution stood out as the one that was best placed to support our vision for Children's Social Care and help us enhance our strength-based approach, focusing on the strengths of our clients and helping us to work better with them.”
The project team running the competitive tender process says: “We were minded to find a supplier who offered a solution that was the most intuitive to use and would pay back in saved time and provide added value to those using the system. This was affirmed by practitioners who were particularly drawn to Liquidlogic's user interface and functionality, from the unique ‘Atom’ view, workflow approach, case map, to the potential of the Children’s Portal. It was clear to us all that Liquidlogic really understood the needs of Social Care staff and the wider workforce.
“We are all energised by the decision to move to Liquidlogic as it marks a major step change in our ability to support our work to improve the outcomes for children and families.”
