Rotherham Council has been awarded an overall "good" rating following the latest Ofsted inspection in November 2017. Rotherham's performance has been the subject of intense scrutiny since being deemed "inadequate" in 2014, where one of the recommendations was that the Council needed to "ensure that social workers have an electronic social care record that encourages good practice and supports managerial oversight and accurate performance information."
The Council has implemented many changes to turn the service around and today's Ofsted report states: "Staff working in early help services and social workers use a new and much improved integrated children’s recording system that supports the monitoring of compliance." In addition to this and according to the report, the Council has "Access to comprehensive and live performance information following the implementation of a new electronic filing system."
David Grigsby, Managing Director, Liquidlogic comments: "Rotherham Council implemented the Liquidlogic Children's Social Care system (LCS) and Early Help Module (EHM) in 2016. As a supplier we have seen the pace at which the team has worked in order to improve the service that they provide to children and families in Rotherham. We are absolutely delighted for them and pleased to have been able to provide the case management system which has supported their progress"
