Buckinghamshire County Council: Working on one platform
Following a competitive tender process, Buckinghamshire County Council has awarded a contract to Liquidlogic to implement its adult social care case management system. Already long-term users of the Liquidlogic Children’s Social Care system (LCS), the Council took the decision to extend its case management system to support teams working across one platform. The Liquidlogic Adults’ Social Care system (LAS) will replace Swift from OLM Northgate.
Speaking about the decision, Adrian Clarke, Chief Technology Officer comments: “Seeing the full picture within a social care setting is crucial to us at Buckinghamshire County Council. Providing practitioners with the very latest and relevant information can make a significant difference to social work decisions. Working on one single social care platform will introduce time savings, freeing up social workers to spend more time with vulnerable adults and children. In addition to this procurement, we have also taken the decision to extend the Liquidlogic contract for our children’s case management system – a signal of our satisfaction with the incumbent Liquidlogic system”
David Grigsby, Managing Director, Liquidlogic says: “We are very pleased to have been awarded the contract for Buckinghamshire County Council’s adult social care system. Having implemented the Liquidlogic children’s platform over ten years ago, we have a long-established relationship with the Council; so are delighted to implement our adults’ case management system to bring synergy and facilitate information sharing between children’s and adults’ social work teams.”
