Children's Social Care.

Our Children’s Case Management system is the UK's leading case management solution for children's social care.

The system supports all aspects of social work with children and has been specifically developed by and for practitioners to allow case management and record keeping for children in need, children subject to child protection plans, children looked after (including adoption) and care experienced young people. We also offer solutions for contextual safeguarding where young people are at risk of extra familial harm.

We also offer solutions for the assessment and support of carers such as connected persons, foster carers, special guardians and adopters.

Our system includes user friendly pathway maps which supports social workers to see the journey of a child or carer though the relevant statutory processes and ensures regulatory compliance for the organisation.

We offer an integrated finance solution to support users to generate payments linked to a social work activity (e.g. starting a placement and paying a provider), to the organisations payment system.

One of the consistent themes to emerge from serious case reviews has been the need for effective information sharing across organisational boundaries. We support multi-agency collaboration in a range of different ways. Some examples include:

  • Portals to enable information to be shared and collaborated on with external agencies as well as children, parents and carers.
  • Shared Care Records to enable social workers to view a child’s health information in real time.
  • SingleView to enable social workers to see who else is working with a child and key information about those involvements to support front door triaging as well as ongoing case work.

Most customers using Children’s Case Management solution also use our Adults' Case Management system. The two systems can operate independently, or as part of an integrated whole. Our solutions allow data to be re-used as appropriate to save practitioner time, promote data quality and keep service user information secure.

"We have been supported well by Liquidlogic and with each release enhancements have been made. As an early adopter of the Liquidlogic Children’s Portal, we now feel that we are on the way to achieving what we set out to do – that is to work seamlessly between social care, partners, and the children, families and carers that we support."
