Luton Looks to the Future with Liquidlogic EYES
Luton Borough Council has selected the Liquidlogic Early Years & Education System (EYES) to operate alongside its existing Liquidlogic social care system.
Motivated by a requirement to access one view of a child and family, as well as a desire to effectively share information, Luton was keen to record data about children in one repository facilitating efficient and secure information sharing.
Cllr Aslam Khan, Portfolio Holder for Children’s, Families and Education Services at Luton Council comments:
“Luton’s vision of ‘One Family, One View’ will be supported by our consolidated IT platform from Liquidlogic and has multiple benefits, including enhancing our ability to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Luton.
This integrated system will use real-time information sharing between Education, Early Help, and Social Care services. It will also enable concerns about children to be shared quickly between services to help identify requirements early and assist in preventing problems from escalating into needs that require high-cost statutory interventions.”
David Grigsby, Managing Director, Liquidlogic says:
“We are delighted that Luton has selected EYES to manage their education services. In doing so, they can ensure that workers are presented with joined-up information in the most modern user-friendly system that supports professionals across all aspects of Children’s Services.”
