Supporting Barking & Dagenham to Save Time

Following an extremely thorough and robust procurement process with input from all parts of Adults’ and Children’s services, Barking and Dagenham Council has recently signed contracts with leading software supplier Liquidlogic to provide its Children's and Adults’ Social Care Systems. The contract takes Liquidlogic’s adults customer base to over 50 and its children’s market share to over 70 and is evidence of Liquidlogic’s status as the leading provider in the market.

In addition to its core Adults’ and Children’s Social Care Systems and the required financial functionality to underpin these, Liquidlogic will provide Barking and Dagenham with its Early Help, SingleView, Portals and Mobile App products.

Speaking about the tender win David Grigsby, Managing Director of Liquidlogic says: “The team at Barking and Dagenham was clear from the outset about supporting their workforce with a system which was fit for purpose, modern and intuitive. One of our key objectives at Liquidlogic is to ensure that practitioners are able to maximise the time which they spend with children and adults; this is supported by functionality such as Family Working, SingleView and Mobile Apps. We very much look forward to working with the team at Barking and Dagenham and welcome them to the Liquidlogic user group.”

Councillor Maureen Worby, Cabinet Member for Social Care and Health Integration said: “We wanted a system which was future proof and could support social workers by freeing up their time. Our tender process put all potential suppliers through their paces and Liquidlogic came out as the best fit for us. Our social workers rated it favourably in the procurement evaluation and are excited to see it being implemented. Functionality such as Family Working, SingleView and Portals will ensure that they are able to proactively and securely join the dots with the families and vulnerable adults with which they work, whilst providing first class support across our Borough.”
