Liquidlogic and ‘Munro, Turnell and Murphy’ welcomed a number of delegates to an event which saw the launch of their Signs of Safety partnership yesterday. Attendees heard from one of the founders and authors of the Signs of Safety model, Dr. Andrew Turnell, who spoke of the partnership with Liquidlogic and how the Signs of Safety model was constantly evolving. Dr. Turnell was keen to emphasise the need to angle the transformation of children’s services around a practice model which is fit for purpose and how Signs of Safety measured up to that.
Managing Director of Liquidlogic, David Grigsby, comments: “The Signs of Safety model is something which many of our customers are either already using, or are about to deploy, so we are keen to work with the authors to support this approach in our software. This essentially means that Liquidlogic has an accredited Signs of Safety configuration that can be used in the system. This contains forms, reports, dashboards and ways for service users to collaborate on-line, based on the methodologies of the model and we provide ongoing support for this as the approach evolves. We are delighted to be a formal development partner for Signs of Safety.”
Dr. Andrew Turnell said of the partnership with Liquidlogic: “Munro, Turnell and Murphy and the Signs of Safety community of agencies are working hard to reclaim UK children services practice as a human practice. To achieve this the practice approach has to be reflected in the IT system and it is exciting to see our methodology reflected in the Liquidlogic product and we are looking forward to a long development partnership with them.”
Ida Cohen, Liquidlogic’s Social Work Practice Lead, comments: “There was a tangible enthusiasm in the room for the fresh approach that Munro, Turnell and Murphy bring, and we are already planning the roll out of our Signs of Safety configuration with a number of customers.”
