Liquidlogic hosted an event for customers with an interest in joined up working with health partners in Birmingham this week. The announcement that the £3.8 billion Better Care Fund will provide an ideal opportunity to bring the two sectors together, prompted the software provider to engage with customers about their plans in making Government policies a reality.
Delegates heard from a variety of experienced healthcare representatives including GPs, the Department of Health, healthcare software providers such as emis and Servelec, existing customers who have seen success in health integration already and colleagues from Liquidlogic’s parent company, System C.
Speaking about the event, David Grigsby, Director of Liquidlogic comments: “We wanted to engage with customers about the opportunities to integrate with health which are already possible. We feel that we are really well placed to support customers in this space because of the projects that we have recently undertaken with our parent company. Not only are customers able to link to System C’s Medway hospital systems, but also a range of other market leading health systems such as Rio and Emis. Customers who have been successful in joining up with health so far have done so in a ‘bite sized chunks’ approach. We are happy to support them in whatever ways we can.”
