Innovative new Liquidlogic solution launched

  Back to main news page

Liquidlogic is pleased to announce that its new Benchmarking solution is now live and in use at Rochdale Council.

The Liquidlogic Benchmarking solution has been developed with a number of Local Authorities in the North West, of which Rochdale is the first to go live. The Benchmarking solution is also expected to go live in several other North West Local Authorities imminently.

The solution has been developed to support customers in analysing their performance and case volume data and comparing it to other Local Authorities that use Liquidlogic. The information provides a yardstick for senior management to use when measuring their own performance against other Local Authorities using anonymous data. It also enables authorities to see if case volumes may be responsible for differences in performance.

Speaking about the go live, Paul Marshall, Assistant Director of Children’s Social Care, comments:

“At Rochdale we felt that it would be advantageous to be able to compare key social care data with similar Local Authorities. There is nothing on the market which would have supported us in doing this in ‘real time’, therefore we approached Liquidlogic as our supplier to bring to life the Benchmarking solution. The project has included a working group consisting of a number of other Local Authorities currently using Liquidlogic systems. Liquidlogic has delivered a fit for purpose system in under 6 months from initial meeting to go live.”

Mark Smith, Products & Project Management Consultant at Liquidlogic says:

“We immediately understood the demand for this type of Benchmarking project and given the cohort of Liquidlogic customers in the North West region, it made sense to launch the solution there. We value the opportunity to develop innovative new solutions and the Benchmarking product fits this bill. We are now working with a variety of customers to roll out the Liquidlogic Benchmarking solution in other regions.”
