Scottish Social Care Case Management System
The Liquidlogic social care system has been adapted and further enhanced to meet Scottish requirements. Given the level of configurability, our Scottish social care case management system has been delivered taking into account different ways of working, whilst retaining core Liquidlogic functionality elements including the big map, Atom, and worktray.
Functionality within Liquidlogic which is unique to children’s social care in Scotland includes:
-
The introduction of Aftercare functionality to automatically calculate the Eligibility Status for Compulsorily Supported Persons and Discretionarily Supported Persons, with the ability to capture Aftercare contact.
-
New flags to differentiate between those children looked after, and those children looked after who are accommodated (Placed with Parents or a Kinship Carer).
-
A new Permanence process and case file has been introduced to support permanence decision-making for those children looked after.
-
The expansion of the core demographic information includes the ability to capture key identifier information such as the Community Health Identifier (CHI). This moves between our Scottish social work systems where a case transitions from Children’s to Adults’ social care.
