ICS Compliance Update
Leeds - 16 July 2007. In February this year Liquidlogic became the 1st supplier of ICS to receive accreditation from the DCSF (formerly DfES) for the 'must have' and 'should have' requirements for ICS Phase 1.
Liquidlogic has now had time to review the recently published requirements for Phase 1B and have committed to the DCSF to deliver these by December 2007, to ensure customer's compliance with the March 2008 deadline.
Compliance with the Phase 1 'Should Have's' has enabled the Liquidlogic PROTOCOL ICS solution to stay ahead of the game, with many of the remaining 1B requirements already in development, as a result of customer feedback.
The Liquidlogic ICS solution was developed without the constraints by a legacy education or social care database. This has been of clear benefit in terms of the speed with which compliance has been achieved.
Phase 1C development of ICS is due to be announced in Autumn by the DCSF. Liquidlogic is confident of compliance with the adoptions and permanence plan requirements, soon after the announcement is made.
ICS Phase 2 suggests a bias towards multi-agency working. With multi-agency software at the heart of our systems, Liquidlogic is again extremely well placed to be compliant.
Having taken the view that DCSF compliance is a bare minimum, Liquidlogic has facilitated granular security, process management, validation and above all, intuitive ease of use, as our own list of "Must Have's".
The Liquidlogic ICS solution has the ability to integrate with existing Social Services databases allows Authorities to leverage existing investment in these systems. Alternatively it can be deployed as a replacement system, integrating with Education, Child Health, YOT and Electronic Document Management systems.
