Cumbria County Council live with ICS
Leeds, Wednesday 9 August, 2006 - Cumbria County Council is currently enjoying attention from other local authorities as one of the few sites across the country to have gone live with the Integrated Children’s System, before the DfES imposed deadline of January 2007.
Liquidlogic’s growing list of ICS customers’ ranges from other large county councils including Somerset and Hertfordshire, to London Boroughs such as RB Kingston and LB Islington. There are also northern metropolitan councils and southern unitaries in the expanding user group.
All of Liquidlogic’s ICS customers are scheduled to go live before the January deadline. Liquidlogic is in contract negotiations with a number of additional authorities with whom they hope to announce a formal partnership in the near future.
Many customers have adopted both the ICS and ISA/e-CAF solutions from Liquidlogic, and some are implementing these as one integrated solution as Liquidlogic moves towards providing a holistic multi agency case management system for children.
Liquidlogic’s ICS customers are a combination of sites that are integrating the solution on top of their existing SWIFT or Care First database and some that are completely replacing their existing children’s system.
The Liquidlogic ICS User Forum will meet again in September to allow Liquidlogic customers to share their experiences of implementation and using the solution in practice.
Liquidlogic ICS customers located around the country are willing to offer site visits for authorities to see the working practice of ICS from Liquidlogic.
