Ofsted study identifies key traits of outstanding children's services

An Ofsted study published this week identifies key qualities of outstanding children's services. A strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention are among the traits of the 10 local authorities judged as outstanding in children's services by Ofsted.

Liquidlogic is particularly delighted that 3 out of the 10 local authorities to have been awarded the ‘outstanding’ status are Liquidlogic PROTOCOL ICS customers, namely Blackburn with Darwen, Lewisham and Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Further evidence of what we’ve achieved together in previous years was referred to in Kingston’s Ofsted report.

“Made good progress in using information and communication technology (ICT) to support the delivery of services and ensure that well-defined performance management, information sharing and reporting systems are in place.”
