Liquidlogic Celebrates 10 Years

Established in June 2000 to meet the need for software to support collaborative working, the past decade has seen the Company grow into a leading player in IT systems for Children’s and Adults’ Services.

Liquidlogic’s products – all built upon its unique PROTOCOL platform – have been at the heart of modernising public services and have featured in projects at both national and local levels. During the 10 year period over 100,000 licences have been deployed, contributing to the Company’s increasing turnover and profitability.

This success is a tribute to the employees of Liquidlogic whose skill and dedication have been pivotal and our customers whose loyalty and contribution have been invaluable.

There have been a number of milestones over the decade, of which we are understandably proud;

2002 - Our first products were installed.

A multi-agency child protection system operating across the Bradford and Airedale Child Protection services, spanning Social Services, Health, Education and the Police.

A Single Assessment system for Adults’ services, using the EASYcare assessment methodology was installed into 15 localities to streamline assessment and care planning across health and social care settings.

2004 - Working with Accenture we delivered the very first application to go live in the NHS National Programme for IT (since renamed Connecting for Health – CfH) with a live interface to the NHS data spine.

2005 – Our Integrated Children’s System (ICS) is developed and over the following years becomes established as the market leading product for Children’s Services.

2007 – Our Integrated Adults System (IAS) is developed. In the past 12 months 7 new customers have put this product into live use with integrated finance support and links to a range of corporate Document Management Systems.

2009 – Liquidlogic was acquired by System C Healthcare to underpin their vision of streamlining the delivery of care services across organisational boundaries across health and social care.

2010 – Liquidlogic is the only Social Care IT provider to successfully pass the interoperability toolkit requirements of the DH which provides an IT framework for integrated working across care settings.

The next 10 years will bring new challenges and new opportunities but we approach the next decade with sound foundations on which to build.
