BRISTOL CITY MAKES IT 40

Children's and Young Peoples Services at Bristol City Council have awarded the contract to replace their legacy Children's Social Care system to Liquidlogic. This takes the number of Local Authorities who have chosen PROTOCOL as their solution for Children Services to 40 making Liquidlogic the undisputed market leader in England.

Over the last 12 months, 9 Authorities have selected Liquidlogic as their IT provider to support Children's Services following tender processes that involved a thorough review of the available products.

David Grigsby, Director of Sales and Strategy at Liquidlogic said; "we have experienced an unparalleled level of tenders over the last year and I am delighted that we have won the majority of these. We have been very aware that Authorities have been particularly rigorous in their evaluation of supplier's capabilities and have often undertaken multiple site visits as part of their evaluation process. The involvement in the process of Social Workers who will use the system is another welcome trend with ‘hands on' sessions now an essential element of evaluations.

Our demonstrable ability to interface to the wide range of systems used in conjunction with Social Care – Finance, Document Management, Education and Child Health has proved a winning formula. This, alongside PROTOCOL's high level of configurability to reflect local ways of working gives customers the confidence that they have a platform for growth that is totally flexible and accommodates the range of involved professionals involved in the care and support of Children and their Families."
