Personalisation Gateway


 

Liquidlogic has developed a Personalisation Gateway to act as a secure element of a Local Authority’s website. The Gateway can allow existing, and also potential, service users to make contact with the Local Authority and inform them of their care requirements. It can also be used by general members of the community to gauge if they are eligible for additional support from the Local Authority.

Each Authority has control of the content within the Gateway and the audience at which it is aimed.

The Personalisation Gateway is divided into a number of Portals; these can be taken as one integrated solution, or as separate elements:

  • Information & Market Portal - Guidance for those looking for support. Also enables citizens to complete assessments and review the care services available locally.
  • My Support Portal - Citizens can review or feedback on aspects their existing case, such as personal budgets and assessments.
  • The Provider Portal- Allows Care Providers to manage the needs from citizens and Local Authorities.

 

The information held in the Personalisation Gateway is simply a view of what is held in the main case management system. Unlike some stand alone portal approaches, the Gateway does not risk having a fragmented record or conflicting information, neither does it require expensive integration or re-keying of data from one to the other.

In practice the Personalisation Gateway improves communication and service levels for those in need, whilst at the same time helping Authorities to reduce costs.
