Another First - ContactPoint Type Accreditation

We are extremely pleased to announce that the PROTOCOL Integrated Children’s System (ICS) and e-Enabled Common Assessment Framework (eCAF) have become the first Case Management Systems in England to achieve ContactPoint Type Accreditation. Another first for Liquidlogic!

Working closely with lead site Hartlepool Borough Council has meant that ICS and eCAF systems have now been accredited for Query Full (QF) and data feed integration against 11 of the 13 profiles and extended profiles available. St Helens Council, as a ContactPoint early adopter site, has acted in a quality assurance role throughout the project.

Generic Contact Point Adapter

We have also making our ContactPoint integration technology available as a generic ContactPoint Adapter which can link any number or any type of systems required to ContactPoint.

Andrew Smith, Children’s Services Specialist emphasised the importance of using proven technology for such a sensitive project. Smith explained "ContactPoint will play a vital part in the delivery of more co-ordinated support for children and young people, and will become a key tool in better safeguarding of children. We therefore felt that it was important to provide our proven integration technology for use with a wider range of 3rd party systems to hasten the effectiveness of ContactPoint across England”
