Adult CAF Success

Following the recent announcement by the Department of Health, Liquidlogic is delighted to confirm that two of its customers have been selected to become Adult CAF Demonstrator sites.

Both Barnsley and Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Councils will be working in conjunction with Liquidlogic to develop the technological services which will underpin improved service delivery in Adult social care. Although both Authorities are focusing on improving outcomes for end users through IT, there are some differences in approaches. For example the Rochdale CAF project will include integration of assessment information between social care and mental health professionals along with developing and trialing tools to enable third sector agencies to contribute assessments to health and social care. Whilst Barnsley MBC intends to develop Virtual Support Teams to enable service users and their wider care networks to work flexibly and provide individualised patterns of care, defined by service user need.

Speaking about the success, Liquidlogic’s Sales and Marketing Director, Denise Harrison said “we’re thrilled to see that Barnsley and Rochdale have been selected as Adult CAF Demonstrators and are looking forward to embarking on this exciting project with them."
