Live ICS in Practice

Working in close collaboration with key development partners, Liquidlogic’s ICS is now live from referral to case closure in 29 Local Authorities. All aspects of the ICS process including Child Protection, children in need and Looked After Children cases are all managed within the ICS, as well as the production of Statutory Returns and Management Reports.

Integration

Whilst being able to operate as a fully stand alone system, Liquidlogic’s ICS can also interface to existing social care systems, whilst providing a modern and intuitive front end for practitioners to manage their caseload. Integration with the existing legacy social care system offers the ability to manage a phased roll out prior to replacing the old system or to integrate with a separate adult’s social care system so that information concerning adult’s and children of interest to both services can be shared and kept up to date. With forms tailored to local requirements and locally configurable workflow and alerts, the ICS system leaves practitioners able to concentrate on the important issues in a case; chronology, the relationships between families, individuals and children as well as previous assessments and plans. It becomes a system that works with practitioners to deliver the information they need, when they need it in an easily understood form.
The Integrated Children's System does not exist in isolation from the other children’s initiatives but also links to the Information Sharing and Assessment and Common Assessment Framework (CAF) support systems that Liquidlogic currently has deployed.

Credibility

Liquidlogic has an enviable track record in the field of multi-agency working for both children and adults. Examples include; the first IT supplier to go live drawing patient data from the NHS data spine for single assessment, a provider to ISA Trailblazers and early adopters as well as providing IT support for the CAF and for children with disabilities.
