Liquidlogic Saves Local Authorities Thousands by Giving Away Free APIs

Leeds, 17 April 2008 - Liquidlogic, a leading provider of collaborative software to the public sector, today announces the availability of a full suite of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for their PROTOCOL applications ICS, IAS, eSAP and eCAF. These interfaces will be available in June 2008, and are offered without charge to new and current Liquidlogic customers.

Liquidlogic provides multi-agency systems which allow public services to work together more efficiently when delivering services to the same person.

The newly available APIs make it possible to securely query, retrieve, manipulate and monitor all client data contained within PROTOCOL applications, supporting a wide range of integration and data-extract scenarios.  By taking advantage of this capability, organisations will be able to maximise the value obtained from PROTOCOL applications, and facilitate better care through more open and timely visibility of data.

The new PROTOCOL APIs are intuitive to use, and are built on modern open web-service based standards that can be securely accessed from any client technology platform. Liquidlogic’s systems include: Integrated Children’s System (ICS), Integrated Adult’s System (IAS), Electronic Single Assessment Process (eSAP), and e-Enabled Common Assessment Framework (eCAF),

Denise Harrison, Liquidlogic’s Sales and Marketing Director comments, "Liquidlogic is aiming to be as open and collaborative in its business practices as it is with the actual solutions themselves. We feel it is important that our customers have a fully enhanced solution so they can deliver the best service possible at all times. Ultimately, we don’t think Local Authorities should have to pay up to up to £100,000 extra to achieve this".
