e-Enabled Common Assessment Framework (eCAF)
As part of the Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme, eCAF provides an holistic assessment of a child’s or young person’s needs, taking into account the individual, family and their community.
Standard forms and processes within eCAF assist practitioners’ record their findings from the assessment. eCAF does not replace specialist assessments, but by identifying needs and possible resources through a Common Assessment Framework, a specialist assessment may not be necessary.

Liquidlogic’s PROTOCOL eCAF has been designed as a multi-agency solution. The highly secure web-based application was developed to the DCSF Requirements Catalogue whilst ensuring the child remains at the heart of the system.
Liquidlogic eCAF customers have the option of retaining their existing social care database and utilising Liquidlogic’s unique real time, two way integration, to keep data within the eCAF and their database synchronised. Conversely, Liquidlogic’s PROTOCOL solution can deliver a complete, modern children’s case management system, which can be used instead of an existing social care system. Download
