Liquidlogic’s ICS Solution Complies with DfES

Local authorities can achieve compliance with DfES ICS phase 1 requirements

Leeds, 1 March 2007 –  Liquidlogic, a leading provider of collaborative software to the public sector, has announced that its PRO TOCOL Integrated Children’s System (ICS) has achieved full compliance with the Department of Education and Skills (DfES) ICS Phase 1 Requirements.  This compliance enables local authorities to go live with their ICS solution.

Following the DfES assessment procedure, the Liquidlogic PRO TOCOL ICS Solution received formal recognition of full compliance from the DfES for both the ‘must have’ and ‘should have’ compliance criteria.  The criteria were devised to help assess the compliance of local Integrated Children’s Systems with the business requirements outlined by the Local Authority Circular (2005) 3.

Liquidlogic’s PRO TOCOL Integrated Children’s System (ICS) provides councils access to a chronology of key events in the life of each of the looked after children and other children in need for whom they are responsible, automatically updating key events as they are recorded into the system.

Denise Harrison, Sales and Marketing Director at Liquidlogic comments: "As the first supplier to become compliant with the DfES ICS Phase 1 Requirements, this clearly puts us ahead of the field. Our customers' input into the Liquidlogic ICS solution has been invaluable and we are delighted to provide them with this added confidence".
