Children's Social Care System (formerly ICS)

Previously known as the Integrated Children's System (ICS), Liquidlogic;s PROTOCOL Children's Social Care solution has been specifically created to focus on helping practitioners to record key information about children in need, looked after children and child protection cases as quickly as possible.
Not simply an electronic filing system into which data is input, the system can assist practitioner's professional judgement by helping to make connections within a case, which may not otherwise be so apparent.
Designed like a website so users immediately feel at ease, PROTOCOL intuitively guides users through a case and the system reacts to information it is given, ensuring that any relevant further information is gathered and validated.
The design philosophy of all Liquidlogic systems is that information is only entered once but the system ensures that it appears in the correct context, wherever else it is needed. Access to existing information within a case about a child, their relatives or other professionals is never more than a couple of mouse clicks away.
Family working, including individual person records, is central to the system which uses innovative technology inbuilt within the system. The finance module enables true costs associated with a child and family to be understood.
The relaxation of the national mandatory requirements plays to the strength of PROTOCOL. Over 40 Local Authority customers are using the same core PROTOCOL children's social care system, however the flexibility and highly configurable nature of the system ensures that different configurations can match local methods of working.
