Integration with Adults

Children's and adults' social care services have different business
requirements. Liquidlogic was the first supplier to recognise the different
needs and design purpose built social care software systems for both adults and
children's services.
Liquidlogic recognises however that there are areas where adults' and
children's services overlap. For example, if there is adults' services mental
health involvement with a person at the same address as a vulnerable child, or
adults' services have been made aware of hazards and risks with a client that
may have contact with children's services or vice versa.
For Local Authorities who use both the Children's Social Care system and the
Integrated Adults' system, an integration hub is supplied as standard. The hub
relays customer configured information from one system to another to share
information that both services consider appropriate for a client. This can
include hazards and warnings from one system to the other and details of all
involvement to show practitioners details of who is working with a client.
The screenshot shows information from the PROTOCOL Children's Social
Care system as part of the Integrated Adults’ system record for that person, a
user in the children’s system will see a similar tab with adults’ information:
