Integrated Adults System

IAS

Following on from the success of the PROTOCOL Integrated Children’s System (ICS) and the Electronic Single Assessment Process (eSAP) for Older People, Liquidlogic has developed the Integrated Adults’ System (IAS) to create a true multi-agency assessment framework for all adults.

The Integrated Adults' System (IAS) has been developed in response to customer demand, as well as a clear government sway towards an integrated adult assessment framework to address the following:

Incorporate self assessment, self care and integrated teams and networks
• Encourage the creation of multi-disciplinary networks and teams at PCTs and respective Local Authorities Enable all PCTs and Local
• Authorities to jointly manage the support of people with long-term conditions, by 2008
• A personal health and social care plan, as part of an integrated health and social care record, for all those in need or on request
• The move from outputs to outcome based assessments and care delivery
• Personal Budgets allowing people to actively choose their own services and equipment.

The IAS has been designed to assist practitioners to deliver more efficient and seamless services for all adults.

Self Directed Care & Personal Budgets

Liquidlogic is committed to providing long term support for Self Directed Care and the Personal Budgets project. PROTOCOL IAS already provides the means for self assessment questionnaires and the care planning process to be recorded within the system via a mediated input. Additional capability is currently being developed to support further direct user control via a ‘client portal’
Assessments within the IAS can automatically calculate a resource allocation score which can be used to define clients’ indicative budget level.
